BEACHES CHAPEL SCHOOL ADMISSION POLICY

The following procedure is in effect for the enrollment of all new students, grades K-5 through 8th. Please note that it is the policy of Beaches Chapel School to admit new students on a 9 week probationary period in order to evaluate conduct and academic performance. Application for the following school year will be as follows:

  1. Age: Applicants for K4, K5 and 1st grade must be 4, 5 and 6 years old respectively, prior to September 1 of the year applied for to be considered for enrollment. Any exceptions will be tested and must be approved by the principal.
  2. Academic: No entrance tests are given at this time. Admittance is based on previous grades and teacher recommendations.
  3. Health: A doctor's examination is necessary prior to entrance for students entering school for the first time. A statement concerning the child's physical fitness for school along with the vaccination certificate must be filed with the school. (Measles, Rubella, DPT, Tine test, etc.)
  4. Discipline: Applicants with prior records of misconduct, including suspension, expulsion, truancy, drug related problems, etc. will be screened and admitted on a very limited basis.
  5. General: All students presently enrolled will be reviewed with regard to behavior, spiritual progress, attitude, and academic performance. Any student not receiving a favorable review will be notified by mail that there will not be a place for them in the coming year here at Beaches Chapel School

BEACHES CHAPEL SCHOOL FINANCIAL INFORMATION

For Grades K4-9: In order to apply for admission, new students are required to submit the completed Enrollment Application, and Financial Contract, along with the Registration Fee.

Current students will be notified of the due date for early Spring enrollment in order to secure a place for the next year. The completed Reenrollment Application, the Financial Contract, and the Registration Fee for the next school year must be submitted at that time.

The Registration Fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable upon receipt. The Curriculum Fee is due by July 1st, and is nonrefundable after June 30th.

Tuition is based on an annual sum which may be paid by the year (discounted for full year prepayment), half year, or month. Checks are made payable to Beaches Chapel School and paid to the Business Office. After the 5th of the month, a nonreversible late charge will be assessed to your account.

The 11 month payment plan in as follows:

  • Due July 1: Registration Fee, Curriculum Fee, Technology Fee
  • Due the first of each month from August through June: Monthly tuition payment

Tuition is discounted for children in the same family. Fees remain the same.

After School Enrichment is offered on a weekly or monthly basis for school students who stay after school.

If an account becomes one month delinquent, special arrangements must be made with the Business Office for payment, or the student will be withdrawn.

Any requests for financial changes in enrollment must be received and approved by the Business Office before they are accepted.

To withdraw a student for any reason, the school office must be notified prior to withdrawal, or as soon as possible afterwards. Withdrawal must be documented and accepted in order to void the enrollment contract and for any refunds to be given. A fee is charged for breaking the financial contract.

If the account is in the arrears at the time of withdrawal or the close of the school year, or if any fees or charges are due, report cards will not be issued, nor records released, nor will reenrollment be possible, until all accounts are paid in full.

Monthly accounts are billed August-June, with a nonreversible fee assessed if paid late.

School Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard. You may complete an authorization form in the Business Office and have your payments charged to your credit/debit card each month.

Payments can be made in the School Office in the Deposit Box. After hours, payments can be put through the mail slot in the School Office door.
