OUR VISION

Beaches Chapel is a home for all to begin and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Founded in 1974, our church has been deeply rooted and invested in the Neptune Beach community with a heart for all people in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Like the Apostle Paul writes in the letter to the Ephesians, we believe that God is building a household, or HOME, with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone. In all that we do as a faith community, we pray that God is most glorified in us as we lift high the name of Jesus, proclaim the life-changing truth of the gospel, and BE the church to those who are both near and far from God. 

our beliefs

  • The Holy Scripture - We believe Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

  • The Eternal Godhead - We believe the Godhead exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

  • The Deity of the Lord Jesus - We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 7:26). We believe in the virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), that He performed miracles (Acts 2:22), and He has His life as a substitutionary work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3). We believe He experienced bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6) and was exalted to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11).

  • The Salvation of Man - We believe that only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God and is received through repentance toward our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 24:47).

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit - We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and is evident through all the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

  • Statement on Sexuality - We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

  • Sanctity of Human Life - We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage of condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps. 139.).

  • Biblical Marriage View - We believe the Biblical standard of marriage is between one man and one woman (Matthew 19:4-5).

  • Divine Healing - We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:14-15).

  • The Second Coming - We believe in the second coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

  • The Final Judgment - We believe everyone will one day stand before God in the final judgment, and there receive eternal reward or eternal punishment (2 Corinthians 5:10).

WHAT WE DO

Our doors are open for people from all walks of life and all backgrounds. We passionately believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for humanity, and want to share this good news to everyone we can. Join us for our weekly worship service at 10am on Sunday mornings. You can expect a powerful time of worship, a sermon rooted in the word of God, and time of community with fellow believers in our congregation. If you have kids ages 0-11, they are invited to join us at BASE CAMP, our weekly kid's ministry experience. If you have middle or high schoolers, check out The Wave every Wednesday night at 6:30pm!

No matter who you are, what age you are, or what you believe, Beaches Chapel is a home for YOU to find Jesus!

OUR COMMUNITY

Beaches Chapel desires community. We believe that church is a family, not a building. We love our church services on Sunday mornings but we also want church to be the other six days of the week. Whether it is our weekly Community Groups, special events in the field, or community outreach, we strive to be congregational AND relational.

 

Beyond that, we want to make an impact in our area. Whether you have the same beliefs as us, we want our neighbors to be grateful that we are here because of the good we do outside our church walls. Beaches Chapel tithes 10% of our annual budget to local and international missions efforts rooted in the gospel. Our heart is to give back what God has given us to see His kingdom grown across the globe.
